How the Radio Shuttle Racking System Works
The system consists of high-density racking channels, a radio-controlled shuttle carrier, and a standard forklift. The forklift positions the shuttle into the desired lane, after which the shuttle independently moves pallets deep into the racking (supporting both LIFO and FIFO configurations). One shuttle can serve multiple lanes, significantly reducing equipment investment while maintaining high throughput.
This design eliminates the need for forklifts to enter deep into the racking, minimizing collision damage and improving operator safety.
