Project Overview
A spare parts warehouse in Nicaragua upgraded its storage facilities with a customized heavy duty racking system to improve inventory organization and maximize warehouse capacity. The warehouse stores a wide range of industrial spare parts with different sizes and weights, requiring a storage solution that supports systematic classification and efficient daily operations.
Based on the customer's storage requirements and warehouse dimensions, a heavy duty racking system with steel shelf panels was designed and installed to create a well-organized storage environment.
- Project Location: Nicaragua
- Industry: Spare Parts Warehouse Storage
- Product: Heavy Duty Racking System
- Surface Finish: Electrostatic Powder Coating
- Rack Size: L3000 × D1000 × H4050 mm
- Configuration: 4 Beam Levels with 4 Storage Levels
- Load Capacity: 1000 kg per Level
- Shelf Type: Steel Shelf Panels on Every Level
The customer manages a warehouse supplying spare parts for industrial and mechanical equipment. The inventory includes components of different dimensions, requiring clear product classification and reliable storage locations to support daily receiving, storage, and order fulfillment.

Project Requirements
As inventory continued to expand, the existing warehouse layout no longer provided sufficient storage efficiency. The customer planned to replace the original storage arrangement with a standardized racking system capable of supporting heavier products while keeping every storage location easily accessible.
The project requirements included:
- Organize multiple categories of spare parts.
- Increase available storage capacity.
- Support heavy-duty storage requirements.
- Create clear storage locations for inventory management.
- Improve warehouse organization.
- Maintain convenient forklift access throughout the warehouse.
The customer also required steel shelf panels on every storage level to accommodate spare parts with different package sizes and shapes.
Customized Racking Solution
After evaluating the warehouse layout and inventory characteristics, a customized heavy duty racking system was developed for the project.
Each rack measured L3000 × D1000 × H4050 mm and was configured with four beam levels, providing four storage levels throughout the system. Every storage level was equipped with steel shelf panels, allowing cartons, containers, and loose spare parts to be stored securely while maintaining a clean and uniform warehouse appearance.
The warehouse layout was arranged to create straight storage aisles, enabling forklifts to move efficiently between rack rows while providing direct access to each storage location. Products were organized by category and inventory turnover, making stock management and order preparation more systematic.
All rack components received an electrostatic powder-coated finish, providing a durable surface suitable for continuous warehouse operation.
Customer Feedback
The customer was satisfied with the completed warehouse upgrade and the overall storage layout. The heavy duty racking system provided stable storage locations for various spare parts while supporting the warehouse's daily receiving and distribution activities. The organized rack arrangement also allows future expansion as inventory volume continues to increase.
